Emily Shore, Youth Project Manager
Emily Shore is the Youth Project Manager for the be well Health & Wellness Initiative of the Stapleton Foundation for sustainable urban communities. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in 2010 and a Master of Public Health degree from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2013. Emily’s passion is to motivate and engage youth to become leaders in the fight against childhood obesity and other preventable illnesses that impact children. In her current position, Emily builds the capacity of youth, ages eight to eighteen, to encourage healthy changes among their peers, as well as, inform or recommend health policies that aid in making healthy living easier at school and in the community. After hours, Emily spends much of her time with her handsome hubby, and fur baby Riley – a 4-year-old yellow lab with a smile bigger than hers.
